Testosterone Therapy Safety & Eligibility

Your safety comes first. Testosterone therapy requires ongoing health screening and laboratory monitoring. Patients must disclose current nicotine/tobacco use, cardiovascular risk factors, medications, and relevant medical conditions. Certain findings—including tobacco/nicotine use, uncontrolled blood pressure or cholesterol, failure to follow an appropriate treatment plan, or failure to complete required laboratory testing—may affect eligibility for treatment or continuation of therapy. Required labs must be completed before testosterone medication is prescribed or refilled.
